Scope: Full Design Package
For this project, we designed a calming and nurturing environment tailored to the needs of individuals with autism. Our design features a neutral aesthetic enriched with earthy tones to create a serene atmosphere conducive to relaxation and emotional well-being.
The color palette includes soft neutrals like warm beige and creamy ivory, accented by subtle earthy hues to maintain a soothing ambiance. We organized the space into distinct zones for various therapy modalities, ensuring privacy, comfort, and accessibility.
Key features include dedicated sensory rooms and quiet retreat areas, equipped with soft lighting, tactile surfaces, and interactive elements to support sensory integration and therapeutic needs.
ENTRANCE & WAITING AREA
Designed with autism patients in mind, the reception area features a nature-inspired theme with pastel colors and light wood finishes to create a warm, calming environment. A tree feature and leaf motifs on the ceiling enhance the connection to nature, promoting relaxation. The minimalist reception desk and natural elements ensure a soothing, organized space that supports comfort and well-being for all visitors

CALM AND PLAYFUL RETREAT
Designed for calm and engagement, this space uses neutral, earthy tones and soft textures to create a soothing environment. Features include comfortable seating and tactile elements, fostering relaxation and interactive play for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
HALLWAY
Designed for sensory comfort and ease of navigation, the hallways feature soft neutral tones and natural finishes. Key elements include:
Alcove Areas:Â Provide retreats for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to manage sensory overload.
Color and Materials:Â Use muted colors and biophilic elements for visual harmony and warmth.
Lighting:Â Indirect LED lighting and natural daylight reduce glare and enhance comfort.
Acoustics:Â Acoustic treatments and sound-absorbing materials minimize distractions.
This design creates a tranquil and supportive environment for ASD individuals and their families.
